The Leaders
Morgan Reminder - Senior, Captain, President of E-Board
email: [email protected] Morgan transferred to Marquette her sophomore year from a small school in Ohio. She joined Moxie the same fall she transferred and fell wholeheartedly in love. She has been playing Ultimate ever since including league in the summers. Morgan is one of our most dedicated players and the team would cease to function without her. Her constant positive energy is the light that guides Moxie home. Morgan is a cutter who has recently transitioned into a handler. She is now one of Moxie's primary handlers. Morgan is an all-around solid player and consistent person. Morgan is Moxie. |
Emma Howard - Senior, Captain
email: [email protected] Emma first started playing Ultimate when she joined Moxie spring semester of her freshman year. Coming from a soccer background she had field vision right away and picked up the skills quickly. She cannot imagine college without ultimate and has confessed that she probably would have transferred if it wasn't for Moxie. Emma is known for her aggression and skying opposing players in her "deep deep" position on zone defense. Her skills as a cutter are strong and consistent, but are beginning to be rivaled by her skills as a handler. Like Morgan, Emma has also recently taken on handler responsibilities and loves to "party handle". Expect her to want to play every position on every point. Emma is Moxie. |
Suzanne Britten - Sophomore, Captain, Secretary of E-Board
email: [email protected] Suzanne, also known as Zan, joined fall semester her freshman year and is our youngest captain. Like Emma, Zan comes from a soccer and also basketball background so she picked Ultimate up very quickly. Her speed, endurance and overall natural abilities for the sport are a staple for Moxie. We don't know what we would do without this girl. Zan is primarily a cutter, but don't count her out for stepping into a handler position in the future. Moxie is excited to have such a young player lead this team and anticipates nothing but success. Zan is Moxie. |
Abby Snell - Senior, VP of E-Board
email: [email protected] Abby signed up for Moxie at O-fest fall semester of her freshman year and has been a committed player ever since. Her quick feet, endurance and crazy catching skills make her a force to be reckoned with. If you watch her for just 5 minutes you will no doubt see her make a crazy play. Abby can play as a cutter and handler. She is a player to look up to and look out for at the same time. Moxie can't wait to see what she does her senior year. Abby is Moxie. Andrea Thiltgen - Sophomore, Treasurer of E-Board
email: [email protected] Andrea, better known as Dre, joined Moxie fully committed to Moxie spring of her freshman year. She took to the team quickly with her bubbly personality and took to the sport even faster. Dre plays primarily as a cutter, but don't be surprised if she takes on handling as her next challenge. We can't wait to see what Dre does for Moxie in the future. Dre is Moxie. |
